OpenDyslexicAlta Schriftart

OpenDyslexic Alta, adapted by Abelardo Gonzalez from original Bitstream fonts in 2012, is a free comic-style sans serif with an informal, sturdy build. Its letters use broad, softly squared curves and unevenly weighted strokes, with extra mass settling toward the lower parts of many forms. The result feels friendly and grounded.

Comic-book publishing is its clearest setting, particularly for speech balloons and children's activity pages. It also suits game menus and casual event posters, where the rounded shapes can echo simple cartoon illustration. Young readers and family audiences are the most natural match for its approachable drawing and steady baseline weight.
