Pecot by Graham Meade of GEM is a free high-contrast display serif built from exceptionally broad, rounded letterforms and stark changes between massive upright strokes and hairline cross strokes. Its flat, minimal serifs and wide, near-rectangular curves give the lettering a precise, theatrical silhouette that feels almost architectural rather than traditionally bookish or understated.

Fashion branding and cosmetics packaging benefit from its glossy extremes and imposing scale, but the same severe stroke contrast gives magazine covers, music posters, and upscale event graphics an elegant note of theatrical tension. The broad curves can also mirror cropped portraits or rounded product photography.
