Excelsior Comics Expanded, created in 2013 by Iconian Fonts, is a free comic display font whose broad, buoyant capitals use thick strokes, soft corners, and lively changes in width and height. Uneven contours give the lettering a loose, hand-drawn bounce.

It can turn a title into part of the illustrated action, especially on comic covers, cartoon posters, and game graphics. The wide silhouettes and playful bumps also suit snack packaging and children's merchandise, but comic publishing remains its clearest home.
