Excelsior Comics Condensed Schriftart

Excelsior Comics Condensed, created by Iconian Fonts in 2013, is a free condensed comic display font with towering, soft-edged letters and a dense, tightly packed, dark silhouette. Uneven tops and pinched inner spaces keep the lettering lively.

Comic-book covers are its clearest home, especially for loud title lettering that needs the immediacy of hand-drawn sound-effect graphics and superhero mastheads. The same tall, rubbery shapes suit arcade posters, youth merchandise, and snack packaging, where the letters can become part of the colorful illustrated action rather than a neutral caption on the page.
