Zollern Extra-Expanded Italic Schriftart

Zollern Extra-Expanded Italic, designed in 2012 by Iconian Fonts, is a free Gothic display font with a broad, forceful silhouette. Its sharply cut strokes and uneven, faceted curves give the lettering a rough heraldic edge. The pointed joins are especially distinctive.

A metal album cover is its most convincing setting, with the dark mass and aggressive angles also fitting wrestling posters, motorcycle apparel, and fantasy game graphics. Across these uses, the blade-like notches make the letters feel closely tied to crests, weapons, and angular emblem artwork.
