Wood Block One With Shadow by Wolf Lambert is a free retro 3D display font with tall, narrow capitals and angular slab serifs. The open letter faces are edged by fine rules and backed by deep offset shadows that create a hard-cut wooden sign effect.
Posters are its strongest medium, with the towering shapes suited to western events, newspaper promotions, and music graphics. Packaging and merchandise can use the same carved storefront character to link a product name with saloon signage and vintage showbills.
