Whittle Condensed Schriftart

Whittle Condensed by Neale Davidson is a free techno display font with heavy, tightly fitted lettering and a hard mechanical profile. Broad horizontal bars meet sharply cut corners, giving the forms an engineered, almost armored silhouette. Angular notches and open joins keep the dense shapes from feeling static.

Arcade science fiction and industrial machinery are its most convincing themes. The lettering suits game title screens, electronic music posters, and sportswear branding because its wide black strokes resemble fabricated signage. On album packaging or event graphics, the clipped contours fit themes of robotics, competitive gaming, and futuristic hardware.

The font is based on the lettering used in pundit Bill Whittle’s “Afterburner” segments. It includes the full alphabet, extended punctuation, the euro symbol, italic, and condensed versions.
