VTC Sumi Slasher One Italic by Larry E. Yerkes is a free horror brush display font with sharply cut, ink-splattered forms. Its strokes shift from fine sweeps to black knots. Hooked ends and thorn-like marks give the lettering a scratched, hostile edge.
Horror film posters are its clearest home, where ragged silhouettes can echo blood, branches, or claw marks. The same aggressive texture suits metal album artwork and dark game graphics. It is most convincing when the title becomes part of the threat.
