VTC Seeing Double Doing Triple by Larry E. Yerkes is a free distressed serif display font with fractured, ink-worn forms. Its tall letters mix severe thick-thin contrast with chipped edges, scratches, and broken patches. The damage feels printed, not digitally tidy.
Poster design is its clearest medium, especially for horror films, abrasive music events, and experimental theater. On album packaging and merchandise, the scarred surfaces can echo photocopied artwork, torn paper, or distressed photography. Even among those uses, theatrical event posters are the strongest fit because the sharp serifs and missing fragments turn a title into part of the damaged image.
