Viking, Younger Runes Bold, created by flansburg_design of FontStruct, is a free runic display font with a severe, sharply cut silhouette. Tall verticals dominate the lettering, joined by narrow diagonals and deep triangular notches. The forms look carved and uncompromising.

A historical game interface is its most convincing setting, since the hard geometry resembles marks cut into timber or stone. It also suits Viking-themed posters, book covers, and merchandise, where the lettering can become part of an emblem or decorative border.
