Varsity Regular

Varsity by Brøderbund Software is a free old-school collegiate display font with the blunt, jacket-letter swagger of classic campus and team insignia. The caps are built from heavy block forms with clipped corners, firm slab-like feet, and a layered outline treatment that gives the letters a sewn-on patch feel rather than a polished editorial finish.

It fits naturally on sports branding, pep-rally posters, yearbook covers, team merch, and title cards where you want that familiar locker-room signal. As a free font, it also works well for short headlines and monograms, because the letters carry enough built-in tradition and weight to do the job in just a few characters.
