Splendid Plan 9 Italic by JVEnaguas Productions, Inc. is a free italic sans serif with a forceful display profile. Its steep forward slant and tightly fitted letters create a fast, compressed line. Broad strokes meet sharp joins and noticeably slimmer diagonals, giving the capitals an aerodynamic shape with strong shifts in weight.

It makes a convincing title treatment for motorsport posters. Athletic branding, music-event graphics, and merchandise can extend the lettering into the artwork through cropped words, racing stripes, or hard-edged geometric shapes that repeat its aggressive slant.
