Slimbo by Boris Schandert is a free hairline serif font built from exceptionally fine strokes and tall, spare capitals. Its broad curves, steep diagonals, and tiny horizontal serifs give the lettering an elegant fashion-editorial quality, with the extreme delicacy recalling engraved titles or early modern display type.

Fashion and luxury subjects are an immediate match, especially for magazine covers and perfume packaging that favor restrained, elongated lettering. It has a cool, formal air. The same skeletal construction also suits gallery invitations and album artwork, where the letters can echo linear illustration, architectural drawings, or other fine-line graphics rather than behaving like ordinary text.
