Shalom Stick Schriftart

Shalom Stick, designed by Jonathan Brecher, is a free Hebrew display font with stark, geometric letterforms. Its mostly even strokes turn sharply at corners, and the mix of tall uprights, low horizontal bars, and occasional diagonals gives the writing an architectural, constructed silhouette.

Hebrew language and cultural themes make it a convincing option for festival posters and educational publishing, especially when a contemporary rather than traditional voice is wanted. The angular forms also suit music graphics and museum branding. It is strongest in poster titles, where the long bars and abrupt turns can become part of the overall graphic motif.
