OpenMind Italic

OpenMind Italic, designed by Dieter Schumacher, is a free digital display font with a late-90s techno slant. The letters look like stepped electronic outlines pushed slightly out of register, giving the alphabet a wired, screen-born motion that feels more playful than hard industrial.

It fits naturally in club flyers, game menus, poster titles, cover lines, and title cards where a little synthetic wobble helps carry the mood. As a free font, it also makes sense for web graphics, zine headers, and short branding moments, especially when you want the outlined, offset shapes to do the visual work without much extra treatment.
