Nakadai Italic Schriftart

Nakadai Italic by Neale Davidson is a free futuristic display font with broad, forcefully slanted letters and a low, streamlined profile. Rounded rectangular forms meet sharp diagonal cuts, giving the lettering the finish of custom racing graphics.

It can push motorsport branding toward speed and give science-fiction game titles a similarly engineered edge. The wide stance also fits athletic merchandise and electronic music posters, where the dark strokes read as assertive rather than ornate. Against vehicle photography or angular interface artwork, its clipped joins and forward lean can become part of the machinery in the image.

The font is based on the character lettering used for Hasbro’s Transformers: Prime figures. It includes lowercase letters, accented characters, the euro symbol, and an italic version.
