Mutter Krause Halbfett Bold, designed by Peter Wiegel, is a free high-contrast serif with the broad gestures and uneven finish of hand-cut lettering. Its swelling curves, sharp tapered ends, and lively changes in stroke width make the forms feel theatrical rather than formal, with a slightly eccentric air. The narrow letters keep the silhouette brisk.
