Michelucci Schriftart

Michelucci by Daniele Piccone is a free condensed sans serif with towering proportions and a spare architectural look. Its slim strokes run through broad, rounded bowls and sharply cut diagonals, producing an unusually airy texture despite the tight width. The letters look engineered rather than mechanical.

Architecture studios and design-conscious cultural venues could use it for posters, exhibition graphics, and signage, where the tall silhouettes echo modernist structures. On fashion packaging or a gallery identity, its narrow geometry can become a recognizable part of the brand rather than neutral wording.

This font was recreated from photographs taken at the Firenze Santa Maria Novella station.

The station was designed in 1932 by a group of architects known as the Gruppo Toscano (Tuscan Group), which included Giovanni Michelucci and Italo Gamberini. The building was constructed between 1932 and 1934.
