The Meninas collection consists of craft alphabets and ornaments researched in rare cross-stitch booklets dating from 1850 to 1930. The series was entirely designed by hand, without auto-tracing, by Iza W of Intellecta Design.

“Menina” means “girl” in Portuguese. “Menina Graciosa” means “graceful girl.”
