Mech Tech Schriftart

Mech Tech by Neale Davidson is a free futuristic display font with broad geometric letters and a machine-cut silhouette. Rounded bowls meet sharp diagonal notches, creating tension between smooth curves and hard joints. The forms are wide and substantial, with open breaks that resemble fitted metal panels.

Science-fiction posters are its most convincing setting, where the lettering can suggest spacecraft controls or industrial hardware. It also fits game title screens, music packaging, and event merchandise built around technology or robotics. These references make it especially suitable for arcade audiences, retro-future fans, and makers of mechanical-themed products.

The typeface is based on Hasbro's Transformers: Dark of the Moon toys' Mech Tech logo. It includes the full alphabet, punctuation, extended characters, and the euro symbol. It includes regular, italic, bold, and bold-italic faces.
