LMMonoPropLt10 by B. Jackowski and J. M. Nowacki of the TeX users groups is a free light typewriter serif with crisp, economical drawing. Its narrow strokes shift gently between fine and firm lines, and the flat serifs keep the letters orderly. Rounded forms soften the mechanical structure.

Technical publishing is its strongest setting, especially for code examples and mathematical documentation, where the restrained typewriter character feels appropriate.
