Kavaler Kursive, designed by Mike Allard, is a free calligraphic brush script with broad, rolling strokes and pronounced changes in width. Its connected letters sweep through deep curves, compact joins, and long finishing strokes, recalling the confidence of a hand-painted shop sign.

As a design element, the script can turn food packaging or cafe branding into lettering that feels drawn directly onto the surface. The generous curves also suit invitations, where an elegant handwritten note is more useful than formal penmanship.
