J. Airplane swash Italic Schriftart

J. Airplane Swash Italic by deFharo is a free cartoon display font with a swollen, rubbery silhouette. Broad letters roll through uneven curves, with pinched joins and soft-edged openings that make the forms look molded rather than drawn. Irregular widths keep the lettering lively, informal, and slightly unruly.

Its comic buoyancy suits children's entertainment and brightly colored candy packaging, but the rolling 1970s flavor also belongs on indie music posters and festival merchandise. Blobby contours link these uses through playful, pictorial lettering.
