Initials TFB Schriftart

Initials TFB, created by Kaiserzharkhan in 2013, is a free Gothic initials font modeled on the lavish ornament of illuminated manuscript capitals. Broad, high-contrast letters fill dense decorative square frames, surrounded by curling leaves, flowers, birds, and heraldic animals that turn every capital into a compact engraved-style illustration.

Medieval history and literary fantasy are its clearest territory, making it a convincing choice for book covers, museum posters, and game title cards with an engraved or archival character. Formal wedding invitations and heritage packaging also suit its richly framed botanical decoration.

This typeface is based on a vectorization of the calligraphy in a book dating from 1844.
