Idaho is a free high-contrast serif display font with towering, tightly packed letters and a theatrical silhouette. Broad black strokes meet needle-thin joins and sharply flared serifs, producing abrupt shifts of weight and narrow internal spaces that make the lettering feel carved as much as drawn.
The font can turn a poster heading into part of the illustration. Its compressed forms also suit fashion editorial covers, music packaging, dramatic event graphics, and branding for theatrical venues or cabaret nights. The recurring spear-like serifs and deep notches give posters, packaging, and venue graphics the look of ornate, cut and painted stage scenery.
