Hektor Schriftart

Hektor, designed by Michael Schinköthe of Greatmade, is a free decorative display font with exceptionally tall, narrow capitals. Its strokes swing from hairline-thin crossbars to broad, bowed verticals. The compressed shapes look theatrical and a little uncanny.

It is strongest on music posters, festival branding, and packaging, where its towering silhouette can turn a name into the main graphic. The sharp elegance and odd proportions also suit editorial covers and nightlife promotions aimed at audiences drawn to experimental design.
