HandTIMES Schriftart

HandTIMES by Manuel Viergutz, known as eM-Vii, is a free eroded serif display font rooted in formal newspaper type. Its tall capitals have sharp bracketed serifs and pronounced shifts between thick and thin strokes. Scratched interiors and ragged edges resemble printing that has been repeatedly handled rather than uniformly distressed.

Its worn print character points toward historical drama and old publishing. It can give book covers, theater posters, and period-themed packaging the look of type pulled from an aging broadside. The familiar Roman structure keeps the lettering grounded, but the uneven damage suits designers working with archival imagery, literary subjects, or vintage ephemera.
