Furmanite Bold Schriftart

Furmanite Bold by Neale Davidson is a free techno display font with a broad, hard-edged silhouette. Its squared forms are cut by deep diagonals, clipped corners, and pointed joins that resemble machine panels. The strokes are dense and uncompromising.

Science-fiction game interfaces and electronic music posters are very different settings, yet both suit its industrial geometry and forceful weight. On merchandise graphics, the angular lettering reads almost like a custom badge or hardware emblem. It is aimed squarely at audiences drawn to futuristic machinery, arcade culture, and severe digital aesthetics.

This typeface is based on the lettering used by the Maximals in the old “Critical Mass” BotCon-exclusive comic. The left and right braces are replaced with Maximal and Predacon insignia, respectively. It includes italic and bold versions.
