DRENA Schriftart

Drena font by Gilang Ternadho of Maikohatta is a free slab serif typeface with the punch of a rubber stamp and the stance of vintage wood type. Thick, blocky letterforms press tightly together, creating a dense, inky texture that feels loud, grounded, and a bit gritty. The chunky serifs and compact spacing pull the eye instantly, giving headlines a strong, almost poster-like presence even in a single word.

Using Drena, bold titles, beer labels, band posters, vintage-inspired logos, packaging, T‑shirts, and signage all gain a heavy, tactile voice. This free font thrives at large sizes where its weight and solid shapes can really show, while body text can be handled by a clean sans for contrast. Pair Drena with a light geometric sans or simple grotesk to keep layouts readable yet muscular.
