Dfd Miliciana by Fabian Flores is a free decorative display font with towering, compressed capitals and an emphatic poster-like weight. Tight joins, blunt curves, and occasional wedge-shaped cuts give the lettering a rough, hand-shaped edge despite its solid silhouette.

Posters are its clearest territory, especially for music, protest, or street-culture graphics that benefit from dense type. The letters hit hard. Album covers and merchandise can also use that oversized, uneven construction as part of an assertive graphic identity, while event branding gains a forceful handmade stamp.

Miliciana is a freely distributed, unicase display typeface. It was developed during the Digital Font Design elective at UTEM and is based on the lettering of the bulletin “El Patriota, órgano oficial de las milicias rodriguistas,” which circulated during Chile’s military dictatorship. The bulletin primarily provided information to militiamen and people sympathetic to the ideas of the Manuel Rodríguez Patriotic Front (FPMR).
