Cyrus the Virus Condensed Italic, a free distorted horror display font by Iconian Fonts, cuts its narrow, forward-driving capitals into hooked points and torn edges. White scars break through the dense strokes.

Horror and outbreak themes make it especially apt for game title cards and film posters. The scratched surfaces and erratic silhouettes can echo damaged metal, infected tissue, or slashing marks in the surrounding artwork. Extreme music merchandise and Halloween event graphics are another good match for its slashed, threatening forms.
