Cyclopish Schriftart

Cyclopish, designed by Manfred Klein, is a free alien dingbat font built from strange, one-eyed creatures. Each symbol looks hand-drawn, with blunt solid shapes, wiry limbs, uneven outlines, and staring eyes worked into the body. The figures are odd and comic.

Extraterrestrial stories are the clearest setting for these pictorial forms, especially on science-fiction posters and game graphics. Their rough silhouettes can become cast members, emblems, or scene details rather than behaving like ordinary lettering. They also suit band merchandise and event flyers with an underground comic slant, where mismatched bodies and the repeated cyclops motif form a loose parade of invented characters.
