Courier Polski 1941 Schriftart

Courier Polski 1941 by DJ ZAI is a free old-school eroded display font with the imposing heft of oversized wood type. Its broad slab serifs, abrupt changes in stroke width, uneven contours, and softly battered edges produce a dark, irregular line that resembles ink pressed from worn printing blocks.

It can turn a poster heading into a piece of weathered ephemera, making it especially apt for historical exhibitions and theatre publicity. The same rough print character gives period packaging and music merchandise a convincing vintage stamp, but poster work remains its clearest role because the large, dense letters recall old hand-pulled broadsides.
