Comonsregular Schriftart

Comons, designed by Masato Shimojima of Design studio creation, is a free retro serif display font with a jaunty, hand-drawn stance. Its narrow letters combine stout vertical strokes with soft curves and blunt, flared serifs. The uneven shapes give the lettering a lively bounce.

Packaging is a particularly good setting for its old-fashioned shop-sign quality, especially on confectionery labels and craft drinks. Posters, restaurant signage, and music merchandise also suit the rounded, slightly unruly forms, which tie these different uses to the warmth of hand-painted commercial lettering.
