CHUNKY MUNKY SERIF Schriftart

Chunky Munky Serif, created by Thomas Canale in 2012, is a free comic Western display font with the rough humor of hand-cut show-bill lettering. Broad slab serifs meet lopsided curves, and the stroke widths shift sharply from one letter to the next. The uneven silhouettes are the real draw.

Posters and event graphics can use its oversized, improvised shapes to suggest a rowdy carnival, saloon comedy, or offbeat stage production, with a cheerful roughness suited to playful theatrical promotion and live entertainment. For snack packaging, novelty merchandise, and children's publishing, the crooked slab serifs turn the lettering itself into part of the cartoon artwork.
