Carton Schriftart

Carton by Imagex is a free old-school eroded display font with the blunt force of vintage slab-serif advertising. Its broad, tightly packed capitals have massive rectangular serifs and uneven edges that make the lettering look battered rather than delicately aged. Small chips and scratches cut through the strokes in a lively, inconsistent pattern.

Concert posters are its most convincing home. The same rough, oversized lettering can shape album covers, workwear packaging, and bar signage, giving each a product identity rooted in screen-printed graphics and weathered storefront type.
