Carmenta Italic Schriftart

Carmenta Italic by Rob S. of High-Logic.com is a free calligraphic script with the poised sweep of formal pen lettering. Strong thick-thin changes give the capitals a crisp, theatrical silhouette. The narrower lowercase forms lean forward, with pointed joins and long finishing strokes that keep the writing lively.

The ZIP file contains regular and italic fonts. Both fonts support ligatures and old-style numerals.

The typeface is named after Carmenta, the Roman goddess of childbirth and prophecy, who is also said to have invented the Latin alphabet.

In version 2, some glyphs were cleaned up and adjusted. The fonts are in TTF format instead of OTF, while the OpenType features remain.
