Aurebesh Italic Schriftart

Aurebesh Italic by Neale Davidson is a free sci-fi symbolic alphabet font with sharply angled, forward-leaning forms. Broad diagonal bars meet narrow joints and open gaps, giving the symbols a technical, engineered appearance. Widths jump from broad horizontal forms to steep, narrow silhouettes.

A space-opera game is its clearest setting, especially for navigation panels, faction insignia, and merchandise tied to an imagined culture. The symbols can also turn a film poster or themed event sign into part of the fictional world, functioning as coded interface markings rather than ordinary lettering within the scene or graphic itself.

This font is based on the Star Wars “Galactic Standard” typeface, specifically its old RPG version. It includes all canonical characters and comes in bold, italic, and condensed versions.
