Asqualt

Asqualt font by Jakob Fischer of PizzaDude is a free trash script typeface that looks like it’s been scratched onto a wall with a marker that’s seen better days. The letters are crooked, splattered, and jittery, with chunky blobs and streaky gaps that feel raw and unfiltered. There’s a sense of motion in every word, as if the text is still drying or shaking from the last loud chord of a song.

Using Asqualt, you get loud, messy energy that shines on gig posters, horror covers, punk zines, skate or streetwear branding, album artwork, stickers, and gritty YouTube thumbnails. This free font works best big and bold, where its inky, uneven texture can really show. For readability, pair Asqualt with a clean, narrow sans serif for body copy and keep the mayhem in the headlines.
