Methodius Schriftart

Methodius, designed by L. Jake Jacobson of the University of Pittsburgh, is a free high-contrast Cyrillic display font. Broad curves meet very fine horizontal strokes, giving the letters a severe, monumental profile. The serif details are crisp and spare.

Museums, academic publishers, and cultural organizations could use it for identities tied to Slavic language or history. Its formal proportions also suit exhibition posters, book covers, and editorial features, where the lettering can establish a historical subject from the opening title.
